The first Developer Developer Developer event was a little less than a year ago and as you may be aware generated a lot of excitement. The second event last October continued the theme and was similarly a great success. Here we are again with DDD3 which will be on Saturday 3rd June 2006. Whatever else you do don’t miss this event - DDD is becoming a significant event in our community. If you take one piece of advice from this blog it should be this: register your attendence as soon as possible - both previous events sold out quickly (as much as any free event can "sell out").
The deadline for submitting session proposals ends tonight so if you haven’t already done so you’ve probably missed out this time. I have submitted the following 5 sessions:-
- Planning Your Internationalization Strategy
- Automating Builds Using MSBuild
- Windows Forms Deployment Using ClickOnce
- .NET Internationalization
- Creating Custom Cultures
You can find complete abstracts of these sessions together with all of the sessions proposals
here. Voting opens on Tuesday 21st March so if you like these sessions then follow the link and vote with your feet (or your mouse or whatever).
Friends,
Brian Long and
Steve Scott have also proposed sessions and we are hoping that Steve Tudor will also put in an appearance so DDD3 may see the first event where all four members of
4 Chaps From Blighty are present at the same .NET event.
